Dick Hines
  Baritone
I was born in Danville Illinois. My father was a member of a quartet but it was my mother who had the most influence on my singing.  I didn't pursue my musical  abilities until I was about 36 years old, when I began to sing in church after having received Christ into my life. My wonderful wife Georgia and I were married in 1970, and we have four grown children. God has really done a wonderful miracle by rekindling our marriage.
I am a member of the Cerritos Church of the Nazarene. Music, motorcycle riding and golf are my favorite hobbies but music with Rekindled is at the top of that list.

Along with singing in the group I also handle bookings, song selection, do some arranging and organize our bi-weekly practice sessions. My love for Southern Gospel music was stirred up by Lyle's involvement with the WSGMA as their sound technician.

Chuck Wallace
 Bass
I was born in Seattle, Washington, and later we settled in Mesa, Arizona during my junior high and high school years.  I started learning guitar while watching my dad play.  I developed my playing style by listening to country music and from accompanying during church song services.

My wife, Kathalyn, and I have two grown children, a daughter and a son.  I work as a manufacturing engineer, and we attend Cerritos Church of the Nazarene in Cerritos, California.  My hobbies include music, song writing, and a whole host of other pursuits, if I only had the time!

I play guitar lead and rhythm and do some arranging as well as singing baritone or bass.

I was saved at the Church of the Nazarene in Mesa, Arizona during a revival when I was 16.  I’m thankful to God’s keeping power and an “up-to-date” relationship with Jesus Christ today.  While attending a Songfellows concert one evening with my wife, three ladies behind us began talking about a group that needed a guitar player.  My wife overheard the conversation and told me about it (wanting me to “say something” to them!).  While I was hesitating, she gave the ladies our phone number, and Dick called me the following evening to join Rekindled.  It is an honor and a privilege to play and sing with this group because we all have a desire to share Jesus through our lives and talents and see others come to know the Lord.

Retha Higley
 Tenor
I was raised in a small town in Oklahoma. My love for gospel music began there at a country church where those loving people encouraged and nourished my interest in singing and playing piano.

Consequently, my life has been filled with many musical endeavors in various ensembles and choirs which eventually led me to directing music. Singing, traveling, and recording with Rekindled has fulfilled the dream of a lifetime for me. Being used by God to encourage and rekindle the faith lets me return some of the blessings given me.

I sing tenor and occasionally play keyboard for the group.

My husband, Paul, and I currently live in Gilbert, Arizona, near our family.

 Lead
I was born in Downey, California in July of 1963 and raised in Southern California. My mother was an Illinois glass worker, and my father was a Tennessee musician born in Mississippi who was attracted to Southern Gospel music from an early age. He sang from his early teens until he finally went to be with Jesus in the early '70s.

My wife and I have three children. I am currently working as a full-time  webmaster. Some of my hobbies include motorcycle riding and flying airplanes.

I received Jesus when I was in the 8th grade at a school revival. I was directed by God in 1998 to clean up a few things in my life that were not pleasing to Him. and shortly after that, I got a call from one of the quartet members asking me if I would be interested in trying out for the quartet, and the rest is history.
